The valve-type gas odorization complex “KlOG” is designed to supply micro-doses of odorant into the gas flow supplied to the consumer, in order to give natural gas a specific smell for timely detection of leaks.
The complex provides pulsed supply of odorant into the gas, under the weight of the odorant, by means of solenoid valves, based on the values of gas flow and odorant flow, while observing the required degree of gas odorization.
What the system provides
- Maintaining the required degree of odorization
- Automatic control and correction of each dose
- Communication with the gas flow computer (pulse, RS-232/RS-485)
- Operation by a constant flow value in the absence of communication
- Odorant accounting: consumption and balance per hour, day, month, year
- Alarms: no odorant supply, low/high level, sensor failure, no mains power
- Automatic switch-over to backup power and battery charging
- Backup (emergency) odorization unit — on request
